Abstract

The article delves into the application of physics-informed parametrization in IsoGeometric Analysis (IGA) and its impact on 2D IGABEM analysis. It introduces a method that utilizes the curvature characteristics of an initial solution approximation to create a non-uniform parametrization, which is then used to enhance the accuracy of the analysis. The method is compared to traditional adaptive refinement approaches and demonstrated to achieve comparable accuracy levels with reduced computational cost. The research highlights the potential of this approach for various engineering applications, including fluid dynamics and electromagnetism, and suggests future directions for extending the method to 3D problems.
