Abstract

The article delves into the critical role of subsea Christmas trees in offshore oil and gas field development, focusing on the installation procedure for the X Field. It outlines the three main steps involved: preparation, pulling out the protective leg, and installing the tree using specific tools like the Light Tree Running Tool (LTRT) or Tree Running Tool (TRT). The article also covers the reliability analysis of the subsea tree production stage, using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify potential failure causes and calculate the system's mean time between failures (MTBF).
