Abstract

This chapter delves into the simulation research on the thermal comfort of pilots operating in high-altitude, high-temperature environments while wearing air ventilation clothing. The study focuses on the impact of cooling systems on human thermal balance, highlighting the disruption of normal thermal balance due to high temperatures and the subsequent effects on pilot performance. Key areas of investigation include the design of cooling clothing, the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for thermal management, and the simulation of heat transfer within the clothing. The research reveals that air ventilation clothing can effectively dissipate heat and improve thermal comfort, with the surface temperature of the human body distributed more uniformly. The study concludes that the design of the garment thermal control system meets the balance of human metabolic heat production and heat dissipation, ensuring thermal comfort for pilots in extreme conditions.
