Abstract

The increase in technology and usage of smart wearables has led to the need in understanding user preferences. The form structure and colours play a major role in buying and understanding the design preferences of the users. Using different qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as online survey, ranking method, card sorting and digital flexible modelling, the study reveals that most of the young users preferred formal and minimal designs which had less buttons and more features such as call answering, messaging and better health tracking. Choosing minimal colours such as shades of black and grey.
