Abstract

This chapter introduces a systematic task and knowledge-based process to develop cybersecurity training programs tailored to different user groups. It addresses the limitations of current approaches by considering contextual knowledge, user variability, and precise task identification. The process is demonstrated through an example of tuning cybersecurity training for email phishing attacks, highlighting the identification of learning units and groups. This method ensures that training programs are effectively designed to meet the specific needs of different user groups, enhancing their ability to counter cybersecurity threats.
