wann ist ein Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) teil-automatisiert? Und wann ist ein solches "fortschrittliches" Assistenzsystem eigentlich nur eine Unterstützungs- oder Warnfunktion? Fragen über Fragen, die es zu beachten und zu lösen gilt. Wie mein Kollege Paul Hansen in der Ausgabe 12/2021 schrieb: "[GMs] Ultra Cruise builds on the capability of Super Cruise with new automated features intended to react to traffic lights, support left- and right-hand turns, lane changes and parking in residential driveways. While impressive, I'm not so sure how many customers will pay dearly for a feature that requires them to stay focused on the road and discourages the use of hand-held devices while at the wheel hands-free. By not having to steer at all, driving long distances will be made even more mind-numbing." Der Effekt könnte insofern auch kontraproduktiv sein, weil Langeweile abstumpft und so keineswegs garantiert ist, dass eine Übernahme so schnell geschieht, wie im Notfall notwendig. …
