Significant amount of cash can be saved by streamlining payables; one of the key components of operating cash flows. Payables management becomes an insurmountable challenge for organizations that have to deal with inconsistent data coming from heterogeneous information management systems, which mostly is a result of ongoing inorganic growth adopted by organizations. At Hewlett Packard, we have developed an analytics framework that is core to an end to end effective payables management which enables management to take effective control of the vendor payment systems by enhancing visibility and control.
