Abstract

The article investigates the alcoholysis behavior of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste blended with hybrid fibers and their application in synthesizing unsaturated resins. It begins by highlighting the environmental and economic benefits of converting waste PET into high-performance materials, addressing the limitations of current recycling methods. The study focuses on the alcoholysis of PET blended with hybrid fibers, examining the influence of various alcoholysis conditions on the characteristics of the resulting products. The synthesized alcoholysis products are then used to prepare unsaturated resins, which are further utilized as binders in the production of artificial stone. The article provides a detailed analysis of the structural characteristics of PET blended with hybrid fibers and the impact of different alcoholysis conditions on the properties of the alcoholysis products. It also discusses the mechanical properties of the unsaturated resins derived from fiber sources and their potential applications in organic artificial stone. The research offers valuable insights into the development of sustainable materials and advanced polymer technologies, making it a significant contribution to the field of materials science and waste management.
