Abstract

The article presents a novel method for extracting high-precision surface meshes from CT projection images. By employing a two-stage error function to construct adaptive volume and using dual interpolation contour surface extraction, the method accurately captures fine features and reduces discretization errors. The proposed algorithm demonstrates superior accuracy and efficiency compared to traditional methods, as validated through experiments. The main steps include preprocessing, adaptive volume construction, computation of voxel values and gradients, dual grid construction, calculation of isosurface vertices, and isosurface extraction. The method effectively addresses challenges such as surface cracks and topological ambiguities, making it a significant advancement in the field of CT data processing for surface mesh generation.
