Abstract

The article delves into the optimization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) for ambient air processing, aiming to improve their efficiency and stability. By introducing additives like urea into the electron transport layer and perovskite layer, the study enhances the crystallization quality and reduces defects. Interface engineering with PEABr and CsCl further passivates interface defects and optimizes the crystallization process. The result is a champion PSC with a power conversion efficiency of 18.41%, showcasing a nearly 30% improvement over the original device. The study also highlights the excellent stability of the optimized PSCs, maintaining 93.48% of their original efficiency after 20 days of storage in ambient air conditions.
