AI-Aided Resource Mining Method for Idealization-Driven Product Innovation

Abstract

The chapter delves into the shift in enterprise production goals towards product functionality and the critical role of resource management in innovation. It introduces an AI-aided resource mining method that integrates ChatGPT to discover internal and external resources, improving the efficiency and sustainability of product innovation. The method involves training ChatGPT to identify resources and constructing a patent database for text mining, followed by a multi-criteria evaluation using AHP-EWM-TOPSIS. The case study on electrofusion welding machines demonstrates the practical application of this method, highlighting its potential to revolutionize product design and innovation.
