Abstract

The article delves into the fabrication of Al-doped ZnO (AZO) thin films using H2-assisted reactive magnetron sputtering at low temperatures, aiming to replace traditional materials like ITO and FTO in photovoltaic devices. The study systematically investigates the effects of working pressure and substrate temperature on the optoelectronic properties of AZO films, achieving high transparency and low resistivity. Notably, the optimized AZO films exhibit enhanced crystallinity and uniformity, leading to a significant improvement in the performance of CZTSSe solar cells. The research provides valuable insights into the preparation of efficient photovoltaic devices by optimizing the N-type transparent conducting window layer.
