The manufacturers of commercial vehicles used to be able to concentrate on the diesel engine as a source of propulsive power. However, climate change, political plans and the quality of air, particularly in inner cities, have forced today's development of alternative drives for trucks and buses. Unfortunately, no one can predict today which type of powertrain will dominate in the future.
