The practice of Records Management in organizations is becoming a subject of research as organizations increasingly face the dematerialization of their processes. Standards and requirements have emerged in order to assist organizations to manage digital records with the purpose of streamlining their processes and ensuring accountability and evidence of their actions. However, there is still no guidance on how to embody these requirements into the organization’s Enterprise Architecture. As a result, this paper explores and analyzes a requirements specification for records management (MoReq) from the perspective of an enterprise architecture framework (TOGAF). It intends to give the basic insights about how to incorporate such requirements into the development process of building an Enterprise Architecture by matching them with the corresponding architecture specification element or domain.
