Abstract

The article delves into the challenges and solutions for efficient energy management and data aggregation in heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (HWSNs). It introduces a new deep learning network-based data fusion technique called Planar Flow-Based Variational Auto-Encoder-based Data Fusion (PF-VAE-DF) for mobile HWSNs. This method enhances data collection efficiency by adjusting the size of the sliding window based on data stream variations. Additionally, the article proposes an efficient energy supply policy that allows sensor nodes to harvest energy from the environment or other network users, significantly extending the network's lifespan. The research highlights the importance of multi-objective clustering and data compression in improving network performance and energy efficiency. The proposed methodology is validated through extensive simulations, demonstrating superior performance compared to existing approaches. This article is essential for professionals seeking innovative solutions to enhance the performance and longevity of wireless sensor networks.
