Abstract

The article delves into the challenges of image matching in indoor smoke scenes, where traditional methods falter due to environmental degradations. It introduces an innovative approach that integrates a fuzzy image recovery algorithm with the Lucas-Kanade optical flow method to enhance image matching robustness and accuracy. The dark channel prior dehazing algorithm is employed to improve image quality, and a continuous frame dehazing approach is proposed for real-time processing. The method's effectiveness is validated through experiments on a real scene dataset, demonstrating significant improvements in image matching performance under smoky conditions. The study also discusses potential limitations and future directions, making it a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners in the field of computer vision and fire safety.
