Abstract

The article introduces an improved Differential Difference Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier (DDCCTA) designed to generate square, triangular, and PWM waves efficiently. It addresses the limitations of previous designs, which include the need for large numbers of components and low bandwidth. The new DDCCTA circuit offers enhanced linearity, increased bandwidth, and improved tolerance to fabrication imperfections. The article also presents a new block called DDCC-X-TA-X, which can generate all these waves simultaneously using a single active element and minimal passive components. The design is validated through hardware emulation and Monte Carlo simulations, demonstrating its practical feasibility and robustness. The work concludes with a comparison to other wave generator circuits, highlighting the superior performance of the proposed DDCC-X-TA-X block.
