Abstract

The article discusses the challenges of integrating renewable energy sources into power systems and introduces an optimized controller for a novel asymmetrical 51-level inverter in a hybrid solar and wind turbine-connected system. The controller, based on an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and optimized using a walrus optimization algorithm-deep belief neural network (WOA-DBN), aims to improve power quality and efficiency. The design and performance of the 51-level inverter are validated through simulations and experimental setups, showcasing its potential to reduce harmonic distortion and enhance overall system performance.
