Abstract

The article introduces an innovative optofluidic monitor designed for real-time analysis of surface water quality. Traditional methods, relying on manual sampling and laboratory testing, are time-consuming and prone to errors. The proposed monitor integrates chromogenic micromixers and automatic on-chip calibration modules, enabling the detection of parameters such as hexavalent chromium, orthophosphate, and ammonia nitrogen. The device is compact, consumes low power, and offers high integration and automation. It significantly reduces the time and reagent consumption required for water quality testing, making it a promising tool for rapid and accurate water quality monitoring.
