Abstract

The article discusses the development of a higher-order finite difference scheme combined with multi-dimensional Hermite wavelets to solve multi-term time-fractional integro-partial differential equations (TFIPDEs) with weakly singular kernels. These equations are crucial for modeling physical processes with memory effects, such as viscoelastic materials and non-Markov random walks. The proposed method addresses the challenges posed by weak singularities at the initial time and provides a thorough analysis of its convergence and stability. The authors also compare their approach with existing schemes, demonstrating its superior accuracy and efficiency. The paper includes detailed numerical experiments and visualizations, highlighting the method's effectiveness and potential applications in various scientific and engineering fields.
