Abstract

The article delves into the analytical and numerical solutions for pressurized thick-walled FGM spheres, focusing on the impact of material property variations on stress and displacement fields. It introduces a nonlinear equation to describe the change in FGM properties and compares the results with those of an isotropic sphere. The research highlights the significant influence of material stiffness variation on stress distribution and displacement fields in FGM spheres, making it a valuable resource for optimizing designs and understanding the behavior of complex materials under pressure.
