Zusammenfassung

Bei den nichtrostenden ferritischen Chrom-Stählen ohne Nickel spielt zusätzlich der Kostenfaktor bei der Anwendung eine Rolle. Dort, wo die Umformbarkeit und die mittlere bis gute Korrosionsbeständigkeit der ferritischen Stähle ausreichend ist, kommen die im Vergleich zu den austenitischen Stählen kostengünstigeren und kostenstabileren ferritischen Stähle zunehmend zum Einsatz. Hauptsächlich betrifft dies Anwendungen von Bauteilen bzw. Produkten, die gegen atmosphärische Korrosion, Dampf, Wasser und oxidierenden Säuren beständig sein müssen.
