Abstract

This study focuses on the Laochang ore field in Gejiu, Yunnan, China, utilizing a 3D approach to examine metallogenic features. The research integrates geological data, remote sensing, and geophysical datasets to construct a comprehensive digital model of the ore field. Key topics include the geological backdrop, the application of 3S technologies, and the use of Surpac software for 3D visualization. The study also employs the Cubic Prediction model and geostatistical techniques for predictive analysis and prospecting. The conclusion highlights the refinement of the prospecting model, enhancing its efficacy in identifying potential ore deposits.
