Abstract

The article discusses the application of fuzzified genetic algorithms for optimally allocating renewable energy sources in power systems. It addresses the challenges of placing distribution generation (DG) units to minimize power loss and enhance voltage stability. The study focuses on the use of genetic algorithms and fuzzy logic to solve multi-objective optimization problems, aiming to find the best locations and sizes for DG units. The authors validate their approach using IEEE 14 and 30 bus systems, demonstrating the effectiveness of their method in improving power system performance. This research is particularly relevant for professionals seeking to optimize the integration of renewable energy sources into existing power systems, highlighting the importance of advanced optimization techniques in achieving efficient and stable power distribution.
