Journal articles in business management, accounting, economics, and computer science are preferred, while book chapters and conference papers are less prevalent. The study also identifies limited research on financial policy aspects such as stability, sustainability, and risk assessment. The research questions address the main contributors to RegTech research, well-covered areas, and areas needing further investigation. The analysis concludes with a call for future research on emerging topics and regions with low representation in the current literature.
