Assessment of Applicability of Discrete Situational Networks for Information Transmission in Intelligent Transport Networks

Abstract

This paper considers the task of modeling an object identical to a road network, through which autonomous cars move and exchange messages that optimize their control algorithms. A formal description of the task is proposed, as well as an interpretation of the task in terms of discrete situational networks, and implementation with the Python programming language. It is shown that the totality of information about elements and objects of the network on every step (tact) of the modeling gives information about the load on various network nodes and about the time that it takes for objects (autonomous transport vehicles and messages) to traverse their routes. This allows creating a complex of control solutions for the movement of autonomous transport vehicles.
