Japanese Supplier Denso Buys Stake in Infineon

Global automotive supplier Denso has acquired a stake in Infineon, a manufacturer of semiconductor products. Together, the partners hope to expand their expertise in areas such as automated driving.

Denso Corporation has announced an investment in Infineon Technologies. Together, the global automotive supplier and the manufacturer of in-car semiconductor products intend to accelerate the development of automated driving.

New mobility solutions such as automated driving, electric cars and networking require advanced electronic control. This will increase the demand for in-car semiconductor products. With this collaboration, Denso aims to enhance semiconductor technology development and integrate Infineon products into vehicles.
