After the regular version of the compact SUV, the long-wheelbase version is also getting a facelift. The VW Tiguan Allspace is now available with two new gasoline engines and a revised infotainment system.

The VW Tiguan Allspace, which has been produced since 2017, has been revised. Like the Tiguan, the long-wheelbase SUV now benefits from new powertrain, assistance and infotainment systems. The front end has been slightly redesigned visually: In addition to the new VW logo, the headlights have been redesigned, and the radiator grille now sports illuminated strips. LED matrix headlights are available as an option, as are the two seats in the third row, which turn the SUV into a seven-seater.

In the powertrain segment, in addition to the 1.5-l TSI with 110 kW (150 PS) and six-speed manual transmission, two 2.0-l gasoline engines are now available: they produce 140 kW (190 PS) and 180 kW (245 PS) respectively. Power is transmitted via a seven-speed DSG to the 4Motion all-wheel drive system. The 2.0-l turbodiesel engines continue to produce 110 kW (150 PS) and 147 kW (200 PS) and operate with the Twindosing exhaust gas treatment system. There will still be no R version or PHEV of the Tiguan Allspace.

New MIB3 for the VW Tiguan Allspace

Digitization is making its way into the interior of the SUV: the instrument cluster is now fully digital, and the display of the MIB3 infotainment system is at least 8" in size. With an integrated eSIM, online services and voice control can be used. A high-end sound system from Harman Kardon is also available as an option.

The air conditioning is now operated via touch surfaces and sliders. In terms of driver assistance systems, the "Travel Assist" for partially automated driving is now also used in the Allspace. The Tiguan Allspace will be launched in the Tiguan, Life, Elegance and R-Line versions.
