8. Barrieren und förderliche Faktoren telemedizinischer Ansätze in der medizinischen Rehabilitation

Zusammenfassung

Die Einführung telemedizinischer Technologien in die Behandlung im Rahmen einer medizinischen Rehabilitation stellt eine Innovation dar, für deren erfolgreiche Implementierung viele Faktoren zu berücksichtigen sind. Dieser Beitrag fokussiert auf zwei Faktoren, die als Barrieren, aber auch als fördernde Faktoren bei der Umsetzung von telemedizinischen Ansätzen wirken können: die Einstellungen des Nutzers der Telemedizin und Merkmale der verwendeten IT-Technologie. Da sich das Potenzial der Telemedizin insbesondere bei der Überwindung räumlicher Distanzen entfaltet, wird zudem auf die Digitalisierung im Kontext der Rehabilitationsnachsorge eingegangen, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass sich der Rehabilitand nach dem direkten Kontakt mit dem Rehabilitationsteam wieder im häuslichen Umfeld bewegt und eine Betreuung durch das Personal der Rehaeinrichtung oft nur noch mit telemedizinischen Ansätzen möglich ist. Die Ausführungen machen deutlich, dass nicht nur technologische Innovationen benötigt werden, sondern auch innovative Konzepte zu einem medizinisch-therapeutischen Arbeitsprozess, der persönliche und digitale Komponenten sinnvoll aufeinander abstimmt.
