Formula Student is the world's biggest international student engineering competition. It is pure passion and is particularly fascinating due to the extremely high level of commitment among the students involved. I am always impressed when I see how the same students who seemed somewhat reserved during my lectures are ready to work through the night in the weeks and months before a race to ensure that they can drive the result of their efforts to a podium position in the Formula Student competitions.
