7. Beispiele für die Umsetzbarkeit des Wise Home Konzepts

Zusammenfassung

Nach der Beschreibung der theoretischen Grundlagen des Wise Home Paradigmas und der begleitenden Methoden und Prozesse in den vorangegangenen Kapiteln, werden in diesem Kapitel empirische Arbeiten vorgestellt, die als Nachweis für die Realisierbarkeit des Konzepts des Wise Home dienen sollen. In Übereinstimmung mit dem in Kap. 6 vorgestellten Prozessmodell wurden die Arbeiten in drei Anwendungsbereichen beziehungsweise -stufen durchgeführt. Am Beginn werden Experimente und Studien vorgestellt, die in unseren Laboreinrichtungen durchgeführt wurden. Das nächste Beispiel, das die Stufe der Living Labs beziehungsweise Musterhäuser repräsentiert, ist Haushalt 37, eine reale Wohnumgebung, die über die letzten mehr als fünfzehn Jahre als Testumgebung diente. Der letzte vorgestellte Anwendungsbereich deckt Feldforschung mit dem Schwerpunkt Active and Assisted Living (AAL) ab und beschreibt unter anderem das Projekt Casa Vecchia, eine longitudinale Feldstudie sowie Nachfolgeaktivitäten in diesem Bereich. Abschließend werden aktuelle Beispielprojekte skizziert, welche die Flexibilität des Wise Home Konzepts anhand von beispielsweise temporären Installationen in Wohnungen oder in einem Spielzeughaus illustrieren.
