Gegenstand des Kapitel 10 ist die Berechnung von Kunststoffstirnradgetrieben in Anlehnung an DIN 3990 (1987). Erfasst werden Nullgetriebe mit 20 ° – Evolventenverzahnung mit Gerad- und Schrägverzahnung sowie Kunststoffe mit einem E-Modul (Ursprungsmodul) nach DIN EN ISO 527 E 0 > 300 N/mm2 bzw. mit einer Shorehärte nach DIN EN ISO 7619 > 60 D.
