Ein großes Potenzial zur Verringerung der THG-Emissionen und der Effizienzsteigerung von Verbrennungsmotoren liegt in der Nutzung von Abgaswärme. In Abgaswärmenutzungssystemen soll dabei die Abgaswärme im Rankine-Prozess zumindest partiell wieder nutzbringend in mechanische Energie zurückgeführt werden. Arbeitsmedien und Materialien werden in solchen Systemen thermisch und korrosiv hochbeansprucht. Am Zentrum für Konstruktionswerkstoffe der TU Darmstadt wurden im FVV-Vorhaben Nr. 1184 relevante Medien und Werkstoffe hinsichtlich ihrer chemischen und thermischen Beständigkeit bewertet. …
