Abstract

The article introduces a blockchain-based protocol, BT-SDT, designed for synchronized data transmission with dynamic device management in digital twin environments for IIoT. It addresses the challenges of clock synchronization and device reliability in IIoT systems, leveraging blockchain technology to provide a decentralized clock synchronization mechanism and a secure method for managing the addition and removal of devices. The protocol ensures that data transmitted between the physical and virtual spaces is accurate and consistent, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of data analysis in digital twin environments. The article also provides a detailed comparison with existing schemes, highlighting the advantages of BT-SDT in terms of security, efficiency, and flexibility. Experimental results demonstrate the practical performance of BT-SDT in a simulated IIoT environment, showcasing its effectiveness and efficiency in real-world applications.
