Abstract

This chapter aims to introduce a blockchain-enabled technology that is implemented for preserving privacy in carpooling services. Throughout this chapter, mechanisms, models, key terms, and major techniques will be covered in order to provide learners with a holistic view about the application. A privacy-preserving carpooling services (PCS) is a service manner that offers assistance services for carpooling functionality while considering the objective of the privacy protection during the service deliveries.
