Yaskawa hat am neuen Standort im Industriepark Hattersheim rund 23 Mio. Euro in einen Neubau investiert. Zuvor waren die Europazentrale und die europäische Drives Motion Controls Division 15 Jahre im nahe gelegenen Eschborn ansässig. Die europäische Robotics Division behält ihren Sitz in Allershausen bei München. Die Eröffnung feierte Yaskawa mit einem Technologietag: Experten der Automatisierungsbranche stellten neueste Entwicklungen und Trends rund um die Industrie 4.0 vor, etwa Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Ruskowski von der TU Kaiserslautern mit einem Blick in die Zukunft der Produktion und Boris Waldeck, Security-Spezialist bei Phoenix Contact, mit einem Vortrag zum Thema "Cybersecurity according to IEC 62443".
