Excerpt

The CPM150 High Voltage BLDC platform by Compact Power Motion addresses the urgent need for efficient and innovative solutions to electrify auxiliary units in electric commercial vehicles. Designed with a focus on higher power density and better energy storage efficiency at higher voltages, this platform is quickly available for testing and is flexible in both design and applications. The platform supports a wide range of auxiliary functions, such as Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering and Coolant Pumps, and includes a modular software architecture for rapid prototyping. The electric machine design features a brushless DC motor with internal permanent magnets, optimized for power density, torque density, and NVH. The power electronics are highly adaptable to OEM requirements, with various converter topologies and power semiconductor types. The modular software platform Modus ensures quick adaptation to different applications and is compatible with automotive standards. The platform's comprehensive toolbox and testing capabilities make it a standout solution for the electrification of commercial vehicle auxiliary units.
