Abstract

This article delves into the stoichiometric characteristics of soil nutrients in China's drylands, emphasizing the ratios of carbon (C), nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P). It examines the spatial distribution and drivers of these nutrients, highlighting the significant influence of climate, land use, and vegetation. The study reveals both linear and non-linear relationships between nutrient elements, offering valuable insights into the biogeochemical cycling processes and suggesting strategies for sustainable land management in dryland ecosystems.
