With the new Saeka cleaning system, Säkaphen delivers a 3‑in‑1 solution for cleaning, sealing and protecting sensitive surfaces.
Application process on insulators: surfaces are cleaned, sealed and protected in a single step.
SÄKAPHEN GmbH
Säkaphen GmbH, headquartered in Gladbeck, Germany, is a global manufacturer and applicator of protective coatings, with a focus on critical assets such as heat exchangers, tanks, and pipelines. In addition, the company has developed a product line of cleaning and sealing pastes.
Saeka cleaning system is a simple yet robust solution that cleans, seals, and protects the treated surfaces in a single application. Initially developed in response to a customer’s request for an effective method to clean high-voltage insulators, it was specially conceived to protect ceramic, glass, and plastic insulators.
The system is composed of three complementary products: Saeka cleaning paste 80.750, designed for ceramic and glass insulators; Saeka cleaning paste 83.750, optimized for plastic, resin, composite, and silicone surfaces; and Saeka silicone grease, for extra protection, especially in environments with high humidity or air pollution. All three pastes are solvent-free, non-toxic, and dermatologically tested. Their formulation includes physiologically safe abrasives, oils, and greases, making them not only highly effective but also user- and environmentally friendly.
Each product in the Saeka cleaning system performs three key actions: clean (for example the oils dissolve dirt and contaminants), seal (as the fine abrasives lift and remove the dirt effectively), and protect (since the grease leaves behind a thin, protective barrier). The process is simple: wipe on, wipe off, and polish. There is no need for special equipment, polyphenyl ether (PPE), or additional chemical agents. Users report 50–75% savings on cleaning costs and dramatically shorter maintenance cycles.
