P-type and K-type tachykinin binding sites exist in variable proportions in urinary bladder of different rodent species with hamster bladder containing predominantly high amounts of K-type sites [1; Burcher and Buck, this volume]. In the present report, 125iodohistidyl₁-SK (ISK) has been employed as the radioligand to examine in detail the K-sites in hamster bladder.
