Abstract

The study delves into the synthesis and characterization of co-precipitated V2O5 nanoparticles, emphasizing their potential in supercapacitor and photocatalytic applications. Key topics include the synthesis process, structural and morphological analysis, electrochemical performance, and photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye. The nanoparticles exhibit a remarkable specific capacitance of 220 F g⁻¹ and a degradation efficiency of 71.60% under solar irradiation. The research concludes that V2O5 nanoparticles are promising materials for designing cost-effective supercapacitors and for dye degradation, offering a flexible solution for energy storage and environmental remediation.
