Abstract

The article delves into the synthesis and characterization of Sr0.3Ca0.7−x−y(MoO4)2: xDy3+, yEu3+ phosphors, focusing on their crystal structure, photoluminescence properties, and temperature-dependent emission spectra. The research highlights the efficient energy transfer from Dy3+ to Eu3+ ions, enabling the tuning of emission colors under UV radiation. This makes the phosphors promising candidates for UV-based white LEDs, offering potential for multicolor emissions in the visible region. The study also underscores the significance of controlling the doping concentration of Eu3+ ions to achieve the desired emission colors, which could revolutionize the field of lighting technologies.
