In order to improve the power system medium-long term load forecasting accuracy, direct at the limitations of combination forecasting and problem, in load forecasting existent, put forward a new prediction model: combination model based on neural network. The neural network has strong nonlinear mapping capability, just can to existing combination forecasting method for linear combination weights just to make amends, through lack of neural network adaptive to various forecasting model of adjusting weight, just can compensate for the shortage of combination forecast method of linear combination weights only, It also introduces the load forecast of virtual instrument front panel and process design process based on this model and the LABVIEW MATLAB. Numerical examples and the simulation results show that the proposed model algorithm is simple, high accuracy, good stability, with virtual instrument for power load forecasting has the advantage of friendly interface, the operation is simple, intuitive, etc.
