Not all safety-critical scenarios for autonomous driving can be represented by real-life tests. In the AI2ISO project, the Research Institute of Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines Stuttgart (FKFS) and the companies Spicetech and Emm! solutions are pursuing the identification of such scenarios on the basis of lane detection on footage from test runs. The aim is to identify the most critical scenarios for real-life tests by varying the image material through the VALICY system and to perform them with the concept vehicle ILO1. …
