Abstract

The article delves into the positive impacts of sex work, challenging the prevailing narrative of exploitation and victimization. Drawing from extensive research in Canada and the UK, it reveals that sex workers experience economic benefits, skill development, and personal growth. Moreover, their work provides therapeutic and educational value to clients, promoting sexual health and pleasure. The study underscores the need for integrative policies that recognize sex work as legitimate labor, thereby enhancing the safety and rights of sex workers. By amplifying the voices of sex workers, the article offers a compelling argument for a more balanced and inclusive policy approach.
