Abstract

The article delves into the design and implementation of a compact planar 220GHz monopulse antenna utilizing TGV-SIW technology, a novel approach in the terahertz frequency band. The antenna's sum and difference comparator, slot antenna array, and power divider are meticulously designed and optimized to achieve superior performance. The use of quartz substrate and TGV technology enables high integration, low loss, and precise processing, making it suitable for high-precision tracking applications. The article also discusses the fabrication process and presents simulated and measured results, validating the feasibility and advantages of TGV-SIW technology in the terahertz band. This innovative design paves the way for advanced terahertz planar high-integration circuits, offering a promising solution for future high-precision capture and tracking systems.
