Abstract

This study delves into the comparative analysis of four ornamental bamboo species, focusing on their topochemical structures and bioconversion performance post-mild acid pretreatment. The research reveals significant variations in chemical composition, morphological features, and structural characteristics between straight and bent bamboo forms. Notably, bent bamboo exhibits lower lignin content and reduced crystallinity, facilitating enhanced component separation and conversion. The study also highlights the potential of the Fl species, which demonstrated the highest enzymatic conversion yield of approximately 40% after 72 hours of incubation. Through detailed microscopic, morphological, and chemical analyses, the research provides valuable insights into the structural characteristics of bamboo biomass and its potential for high-value utilization in various industries. The findings contribute to the development of effective pretreatment strategies and improve the efficiency of biomass deconstruction, paving the way for innovative applications in biorefinery processes.
