In the capitalist market, vital regulatory functions such as ensuring, stability, competency, and fairness are relegated to pricing mechanisms. Thus, competitive equilibrium theory of equilibrium prices acquired a prominent place in mathematical economics. With the advent of internet, there has been an extensive research done at the boundary across computer science and economic theory, over the past few years. We discuss in this paper about the competitive equilibrium theory and its applications to computer science.
