Abstract

Albert Einstein used to say that compounding is the “world’s eighth wonder.” Compounding is a simple investment method and requires only two things: time and reinvesting returns and earnings. This research paper argues the fact that from an economic point of view, compounding in Romania would bring numerous advantages in society, among which stimulating investments, creating jobs, and increasing productivity. It would also greatly reduce the temptation of a shadow economy.
