Abstract

The study focuses on the compression behavior of Chlef sand and the transition of fines content using pressure-dependent maximum void ratios. It evaluates the influence of fines content, relative density, and preparation methods on the compressibility behavior of sand-silt mixtures. The research utilizes hypoplastic models to predict soil behavior and explores the relationship between compression coefficients and particle size distribution. The findings highlight the significance of fines content and preparation methods on soil compressibility, providing valuable insights for geotechnical engineering applications.
